Ja, kära sci-fi-älskare, nu har vinnarna i 2024 års Hugo Awards korats!
I år gick Hugo Awards (sv: Hugopriset) – science fiction-litteraturens motsvarighet till Nobelpriset i litteratur – av staplen på Glasgow 2024 (”a Worldcon for Our Futures” i (tänka sig!) Glasgow, Skottland den 11 augusti. Vi listar nedan alla vinnare, enligt länken i förra meningen (källkritik är viktigt i all form av litteratur!).

Slutligen bör sägas att även om vi tvenne bibliotekarier gärna läser sci-fi, så har vi ingen åsikt om vem som vann eller ej. Poddens område är ju klassisk litteratur – mer eller mindre – så årets vinnare får vänta några år på våra kritiska ögon.

Hugo Award (Hugopriset) – eller Science Fiction Achievement Award – är det främsta priset inom science fiction och fantasy. Det delas ut årligen till bästa verk inom olika kategorier, framröstade av medlemmar i World Science Fiction Convention. Priset är uppkallat efter Hugo Gernsback, en pionjär inom genren.
